CHICAGO - The EHK Hockey Experience made
its debut in beautiful Flintshire, Wales last month - and by all accounts,
it was a HUGE success. The EHK Staff of Ted Sator (Alfa Sport Academy),
Jamie Kompon (St. Louis Blues), and Mike Pilon (EHK Sports) made there way
to Wales to work with the Flintshire Freeze Amateur Hockey Club, under the
direction of Hockey Director and DIII Pro Team coach Gary Shaw.

Mike Pilon Jamie Kompon & Ted
Sator Teaching a special Adult session!
Forty-two
players from across the UK had the benefit of spending a week with this
incredible staff which was supported by local coaches Gary Shaw, Mike
Martin, Phil Kennedy, and Mike Lavery. Without there efforts, the camp
would not have been as successful as it was... In the end - many
compliments and more importantly - a distinct improvement was visible in
each and every player after getting more ice time in one week than they
would in three months.
The five day
camp allowed players to participate in a unique curriculum which included
team training, off-ice conditioning, small area games, and a variety of
individual and group competition style environments.
The staff also
performed an adult clinic for twenty-eight players one evening during the
week, with a tremendous response from the players involved.

Ted Sator working with the kids!
A big thank you to staff members Ted Sator
and Jamie Kompon for their efforts - along with the unmatched hospitality
displayed by the Shaw family and friends. We look forward to seeing
everyone next year as the dates have already been confirmed and will be
released in the next month. Look for EHK Sports Hockey to return to the UK
in October to Chelmsford!

The whole gang saying goodbye!
See you next year!
